Joint music lessons for refugees/socially disadvantaged people with people with an higher income. Because music connects. EVERYONE is welcome at the music school DoReMi. Within the lessons, DoReMi creates an environment that makes music fun, strengthens the self-esteem and cultivates a respectful cooperation.

Affordable Music Lessons

People from all social classes get the chance to learn a music instrument. You pay for it as much as you can.

Sustainable Integration

In DoReMi, we offer classes in pairs, so that refugees/socially disadvantaged people pair up with people with higher incomes.

Learn German in a playful way

Getting in contact with german-speaking students and teachers, language acquisition and cultural exchange succeed quite by themselves.

Appreciate cultural diversity

Refugees are not only students at the DoReMi music school, they also teach their traditional instruments.

Who? All levels are welcome
Where? From November 2nd, 2022 every Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (possibly also from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.)
How? There are 13 units in total. After each unit there is a voluntary voice training unit.
Where? Parish Canasius, Pulverturmgasse 11, 1090 Vienna
What? Songs from all over the world and in different languages. We have sung songs in German, English, Spanish, Japanese, Arabic, African languages, Hawaiian (native language). Depending on the size of the group, we sing the songs in 3-4 voices.

Next registration period starts in the beginning of January.
